Recently I was at Grand Central Station’s annual Holiday Fair, when I came across some beautiful metallic looking photographs. The artist, Djordje Skendzic, was at the fair selling his own work and explaining the process of how he makes the photos; Unfortunately, I did not get to hear it because I had to run, but it sounded like complicated gold-leafing. The images, all original photos, were incredibly eye-catching; trees, buildings, people, all caught at just the right angle. I do not have any images of what the photos look like after the leafing, but here is a original from the artists website. If you are in the NYC area, I recommend you check out the Holiday Fair at Grand Central and even if you’re not in NYC, take a look at this artist’s website here.
