The Wednesday Night Catfight #14: Jordana Brewster vs. Kat Dennings

Jordana Brewster is one of the stars of Fast Five, which was released last week. In case you haven’t heard, the film which everyone thought would be irrelevant and was unnecessary wound up to being a huge freaking deal, raking in a shit ton of money and having one of the most impressive openings of all time. A sequel can be pretty much guaranteed. I haven’t actually seen any of the Fast and the Furious movies, but this is Jordana’s third appearance in the franchise. She’s appeared in a handful of TV shows, most notably a recurring role on the beloved NBC spy comedy, Chuck.

Kat Dennings can be seen in Thor, which comes out this weekend. She’s had many guest spots on many TV shows, and has appeared in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Charlie Bartlett (a flawed move which I still watch like twice a year), and Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (one of my favorites). On May 17, her film Daydream Nation will be released on DVD and the poster describes it as, “Juno as reimagined by David Lynch or a funnier, sunnier Donnie Darko.” I’m a fan of both movies that were name-dropped there, so my expectations are super high. Hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.

So which would you choose? The choice is yours and yours alone!
