In 2001, WWE bought out its competition, WCW. These are the only two females that they brought on. Both had pretty decent success as far as establishing fanbases go. As far as being remembered as classic wrestlers? Not so much.
Ringname: Torrie Wilson
Known for: Managing several superstars, and for getting the “Playboy Push” on two occasions.
Wrestlemania Experience: Holy crap. She’s actually competed in four WM matches. She and Stacy Keibler faced the Miller Light Catfight girls in an impromptu pillow fight at Wrestlemania 19, she “wrestled” in a Playboy Evening Gown tag match alongside Sable and fought the team of Stacy Keibler and Jackie Gayda, and “wrestled” in a Playboy Pillow Fight against fellow covergirl Candice Michelle at Wrestlemania 22. Hey, I never said Wrestlemania was always the classiest event. She also competed in the Miss Wrestlemania Battle Royal at WM25.
Since Leaving the WWE: She started her own clothing line and opened a boutique along with former WWE superstar Nick Mitchell (aka: Mitch of the Spirit Squad.)
Ringname: Stacy Keibler
Known for: Distracting wrestlers with her ridiculously long legs.
Wrestlemania Experience: The two aforementioned matches with/against Torrie Wilson.
Since Leaving the WWE: She left the WWE after a stint on Dancing With The Stars led her to believe she would be as big in Hollywood as The Rock. While that has yet to happen, she has found steady work making guest appearances on shows like The George Lopez Show and How I Met Your Mother.
So which would you choose? The choice is yours, and yours alone! Come back tomorrow and every day this week for more WWE Diva Match-Ups.
