Some Cool Links

These are a few links that have been brought to my attention over the past week or so, and they are all worth checking out.

Home Alone Twitter Project
I really wish I would’ve known about this one in advance. Some clever Tweeters made accounts for each character in Home Alone and reinacted their conversations in real time in the days leading up to Christmas. If they do the second movie next year, I’m definitely going to have to check it out.

If Star Wars Had Facebook
Basically what it sounds like. A bunch of Facebook statuses from characters in George Lucas’ iconic saga.

American Psycho Billboard
A clever way of advertising a future airing of American Psycho from a New Zealand television network. If you’ve never seen the movie, you may not think it’s that much of a big deal, but for those who have it is a creative take on the scene where the men are comparing their business cards.

Cinema 2009
I’ve saved my favorite for last. This awesome video acts like a trailer to the entire year of 2009 in Hollywood. Supposedly every film that came out this year is included, and I don’t doubt it (the editor even includes a list of each film in the order it appears in the video as proof). Well worth seven minutes of your time. You must watch it. As someone who’s done a fair share of video editing in my time, I have much respect for this video. I couldn’t imagine trying to edit together clips from 342 movies.

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year and an even more kickass 2010!
