Everyone wants to imagine themselves living a long and full life. No one want to think that they won’t be here forever but what are the implication of human beings living longer? I was reading this story and it made me think- do we use science to rebel against nature, against the nature order of things? Is it a good thing that we have been able to use medicine to outlive previous generations?
According to this article, for children born today living to 100 will be the norm. The obvious issue of over population and caring for an aging population probably won’t be much of a problem bacause the majority of people won’t live to their life expectancy. (Sorry)
So here’s the question: If you could live forever would you want to?
